This thing is absolutely awesome.
I am using it to make car parts, and random things for vehicles. I am a hobbyist, and really nothing more. This is my first time owning a 3d scanner of any sort.
TLDR; Buy it if you are wanting to get in to the hobby. From what I can tell, rivals 3000$+ machines.
The first pic is the scan that I took of a vehicle vent to make an overlay for it. McLaren MP4-12C. If you look at the last picture, You wouldn't take 30 seconds to figure out which vent it is.
This was after a 30 second scan, no markers, in "texture" mode, brightness of 4 (since it is black/very dark grey). No problems scanning at all, tracking is very acceptable. No sprays, no markers, nothing. This was the raw scan after the self-processing program did its work.
The second pic/gif is the scan after a very quick clean-up in meshmixer (Free software from autodesk). You will need to play with this a bit to get the hang of the meshmixer part. It is fairly easy to use, but there is a learning curve. The scanner: No learning curve. Easy to use, seriously.
I have not found a use for the table yet, but this is not why I bought it. I did do a test scan with the table, and you will also see those pics in the review. Again, black object with no trackers or sprays. You be the judge.
I can't say enough good things about it. Scanning size seems to be as big as you can throw at it (so far). I scanned the drivers kick panel but forgot to save the scans. Doh.
The software is good. It is in its early stages, but I expect and assume that it will get nothing but better over time.
Buy it. Don't think about it. This is 100% the tool to get for great scanning.

Purchased this product and received it, feels like it is made of great quality materials, feels sturdy, the case it comes in is top quality, they CLEARLY put a lot of work into this thing, scans AWESOME, so far I’m still learning it as this is my first experience with a 3D scanner, I’ve scanned my daughters head so far and I’ve learned that it does not like to scan hair. So a hat is a must, BUT i am determined to find a way for it to recognize hair. Overall for the price it is PHENOMENAL I’m posting a picture of my first scan and print(my daughters face) and am currently printing a much more detailed version as I write this.

The software install was a breeze, no issues to report and operated as expected without issue
The equipment installed without issue to include the turntable however the software stated it could control the turntable but that would be impossible as it was plugged into its own USB port and not into the camera or camera cabeling.
Moving on to operation of the camera was straight forward and the plaster cast model that came in the kit did come up on the computer screen first time without issue but to get the scanned data out of the computer to either a 3d printer or Laser cutter in my case was impossible I spent a whole day scanning rescanning and rescanning making software adjustment and more software adjustments and just gave up.. such a disappointment because I though I had found a product that would just do what it said right out the box... great effort guys, I just don't have all this time to keep making software changes, scans and re-scans. If your new to 3d scanning this would be a great product if the software didn't have to make multiple vector scans before outputting the Data. 10 out of 10 for the camera but 5 out 10 for the software operation.
This is a very good scanner. I learned to use it quickly. On the third scan i got high quality scanned models. Mini is realy easy to use. I can use it with a smartphone, this adds mobility to the scanner. Its my first scanner and first experience of use.
