Good product, but scanning needs improvement.
The post-scanning steps need to be made easier.

New to 3 d printing and scanning , I have managed to scan some of my daughters reptile bowls , they have scanned and printed fine, took a while to get used to the software , the scanner was a good price

I've been enjoying the freedom of the Toucan scanner being stand alone. Now when I move to different locations, I'm careful to keep the scanner tripod and turntable stowed in the made-to-fit case.
I need a midsize scanner that was going to be able to meet my scanning needs for capturing my vintage model kits, the moose did not disappoint! Perfectly compliments the Seal lite.
The turntable is paired with the scanner via Bluetooth and controls exactly the speed of rotation needed for the scanner to keep tracking the object without error.
3D scanning can be a challenge, and I've owned many scanners over the years. The Toucan has outperformed them all. Being able to see the scanning process on the device itself is a game changer. In addition, the Toucan produces dense, accurate point clouds and transferring them to the computer is a breeze.

Very easyJet to use! Plug in the Power supply, and it turns. Perfect!
Wish it was more portable. I’m impressed by the scanning ability and it arrived without trouble. I scanned my own face with it.
It is super easy to use and the PC software is easy to use as well. it does however struggle in low light indoor conditions so one improvement would be better low light performance.
