Wish it was more portable. I’m impressed by the scanning ability and it arrived without trouble. I scanned my own face with it.
It is super easy to use and the PC software is easy to use as well. it does however struggle in low light indoor conditions so one improvement would be better low light performance.

Ich bin wirklich sehr positiv überrascht, wie gut dieser Scanner arbeitet. Die Bedienung ist Kinderleicht und total Intuitiv.
Trotz das es mein erster Scanner ist, bin ich sofort mit dem Gerät klar gekommen.
Ich kann manche schlechte YouTube Tests und Bewertungen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen.
Auch das einrichten ist total einfach und dauerte nur mit Verifizierung 30 min ca.
Nach Aussage von XrControl YouTubeTest, Sei das einrichten sehr schwierig, bis gar nicht möglich,was ich überhaupt nicht bestätigen kann.
Ich finde solche Falschaussagen echt schade, dass macht so ein tolles Produkt kaputt und schreckt andere potentielle Käufer ab. Ich bin froh, dass ich mich nicht abschrecken ließ.
Kurz um, ich kann diesen Scanner auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen

am i missing detailed instructions on how to use this? I have problems loosing tracking. I don't know when to choose what option. I bought this to reverse engineer parts with . I have a scan i need to pull a profile from. I have it in your geomagic warp for 3d maker pro and dont see any options for cutting plain or dxf out . how do i begin to work with this data in a real Cad program? Help [****]

Overall this is a very good device for taking real-world items and creating usable 3D models. The instructions for the software could use some work however -- they are mostly video-based and provide a 'high level' overview of the process, but lack the specific details to get up and running quickly. That said, I am new to 3D modeling and this was my first endeavor into 3D Scanning. Within the first few hours of using the scanner I was able to successfully scan, modify and import to Fusion 360 two remote controls (one almost entirely black, the other white), the handle of a baseball bat, and a plastic keyboard stand piece. I've used these for personal projects and expect to continue to use the Moose scanner to create and manipulate 3D models. I've found that using it by hand and with the phone attachment provided me with the best and fastest results overall. Would I purchase this device again? Absolutely!
Sehr einfach zu bedienen, schon fast intuitiv. Die Power des Gerätes langt, um auch komplexe Aufgaben zu erledigen. Ein Probe-Scan war, auch ohne Kalibrierung eine Offenbarung. Gut finde ich die lange Akku-Laufzeit und damit die Möglichkeit unabhängig von einem PC zu sein.
I love this scanner! I use it for my buisness to scan large rock formations and it does a fantastic job! I highly recommend for any outdoor scanning jobs!
Hello, the problem is the battery time and the fact that it is not possible to resume a rough scan and complete it, then the USB PC connection is missing
And this is coming from kind of a newbie. The picture attached is an .stl exported directly from JMStudio - untouched! and imported into fusion360.
If you're still waiting, be patient - it's well worth the wait. If you haven't ordered yet, you might want to give this awesome scanner a shot.
