Le nuvole di punti acquisite tramite LiDAR risultano accettabili, anche se sarebbe auspicabile una maggiore precisione nella verticale. Le nuvole a colori, invece, presentano una densità troppo bassa, rendendole di fatto inutilizzabili per rilievi architettonici di facciate. Possono comunque essere sufficienti per alcuni elaborati 2D, come le planimetrie.
Il sistema mostra alcune difficoltà legate alla deriva, che influenzano l’affidabilità del dato in rilievi estesi o complessi. Al momento, le prestazioni reali non rispecchiano pienamente quanto promesso in fase di promozione. Confido comunque che con futuri aggiornamenti il prodotto possa raggiungere gli standard dichiarati.
I'm quite happy with the eagle Lidar, very convenient. I just find the process to download data very slow and annoying. Try the wifi but not able to get it. could be better ih it was possible to link directly to computer with usbc and the software.
but this is a good product for me, hope the software will have some more update to download data directly.

There is still Work In Progress for the develloppers with respect to firmware and RayStudio.
Support is good, answers are quick.
It´s a ver nice scanner lidar for a good price, it needs to improve firmware, more light to screen, and settings save for example, and Raystudio also needs to be improved. The scanner produces a ver nice and solid original point cloud but the colorized point cloud process produces problems and displacements. I hope this can be improved in future. Thanks.
Noting special it's short and that is good and bad. First it's bad because you can't adjust it. For 20 bucks at Walmart you can get a camera stand that has a wider base and can stand as tall as 5 feet down to 10 inches. Good because it gets low enough to record most items sufficiently but still need to get the top and bottom (by hand because it's not adjustable)

I love this scanner because it is easy to use and gets the job done. I am able to scan my sculptures without a problem and prepare them for 3D printing.
This is my first 3d scanner, and I love it. my dad and I recently got into Warhammer 40k, and amazingly enough i'm able to almost exactly replicate our armies! this thing is impressive, I love it.
Good enough to scan dental models to fabricate Stents or Splints
My wife opened the scanner box for Christmas and it appeared to be in perfect condition. It hasn't been plugged in yet.
High quality scan for small objects with a very reasonable price.
I have not had time to use it yet.

Got my delivery via DHL. Terrible experience. They dropped it at the Post Office but did not advise me where it was. I was expecting it to be delivered to my house🤬🤬🤬🤬.
Learning how to get a good scan is still underway. The software is good but like all software needs some time to become familiar with. Two attempts so far and results getting better. The STL file kills my CAD package (Rhino 8) but that could be me?
All signs are promising so so far so good👍. Accuracy is something I am after. I think I will need to make a scale correction.
I bought the Lynx to scan car parts so that I could fit custom 3d brackets, etc., to the car (a rally car). Most items in a car are glossy and black, so you need 3d scanner spray, so factor that into your lifetime cost-of-ownership. What surprised me was the distance from the scanner to the object required. This was about one metre. So, make sure that you buy the 4m cable if you are planning on doing much more than the turntable scan. The software is excellent, and never failed to align multiple turntable scans perfectly. The 'easy scan' (handheld), rarely aligned multiple scans automatically, but the JMStudio software made that quite easy.
Things that are hard or impossible for the scanner to “see” do become scannable. It is nice that there is no cleanup with this product. Do not double spray as I did and it took 12 hours for it to evaporate. Only con is its price so I use it as a last resort.
It produces great results if you are patient. You do have to learn how to keep in focus and that requires practice. Something the people who post bad reviews apparently have NOT invested into learning how to use this device. Very satisfied!
Their manuals and YouTube tutorials do leave a lot to be desired.
It is very nice NOT having to deal with those silly reflective dots. I was able to scan a dark wood piece without spraying it, something a friend with a different scanner had to do on the same piece.
