Since I just got it, it’s still early to tell, but I feel color images are slightly overexposed on outdoor. The point cloud is as expected.
Good SLAM scanner, but the software needs improvement. There have already been several updates with improvements. I hope that comprehensive documentation will be available. It would be nice if the GNSS antenna were more useful.
Makes a night and day difference when scanning reflective materials. Evaporates as described.

I used the moose to scan a pillar on two cars a 2018 Silverado and 1995 civic the scans worked well to create a gauge mount and a speaker pod. The scanner is pretty easy to use. keep it at a good distance and get some scanner stickers and you will be Golden. I used the scan with fusion and got some great fitting parts. I will update this post in like a month after a few more scans and designs

It ls pretty easy to get that hang of but the editing software is tricky but not terrible recommend for people starting out in 3d printing there own stuff
Es justo lo que esperaba. Lidar para escanear edificaciones. Cumple las perspectivas. Buena relación calidad precio.
I like the scanner very much but the fact that it comes in a cardboard box is not so good for a scanner an included bag that has no extra cost would still have been nicer I have now printed and constructed one myself.

I use it for fast "scouting" of interiors and exteriors (raw measurement and overview of installation and spaces for film-shooting). It works well, it is fast, simple and lightweight. I also like Gaussian Splatting output... it is not done completely yet, they are working on improved version of software. But it is good enough for our purpose (virtual production studio).
Based on budget and based on the lidar scanning results 5 stars.

Le nuvole di punti acquisite tramite LiDAR risultano accettabili, anche se sarebbe auspicabile una maggiore precisione nella verticale. Le nuvole a colori, invece, presentano una densità troppo bassa, rendendole di fatto inutilizzabili per rilievi architettonici di facciate. Possono comunque essere sufficienti per alcuni elaborati 2D, come le planimetrie.
Il sistema mostra alcune difficoltà legate alla deriva, che influenzano l’affidabilità del dato in rilievi estesi o complessi. Al momento, le prestazioni reali non rispecchiano pienamente quanto promesso in fase di promozione. Confido comunque che con futuri aggiornamenti il prodotto possa raggiungere gli standard dichiarati.
